In the upper right corner of your Note Board, you will see two timers: the Plenary Timer, which you can use to track the time spent in full sessions, and the Caucus Timer, which allows you to track the time spent in caucus sessions with each party. A caucus timer is automatically added for every Party you create when you set up a case.
Worried about forgetting to start the timer? When you open the Note Board, the Plenary and Caucus timers will flash briefly to remind you.
Operating timers
To operate the timers, click on the Start button or the Stop button . Select the caucus drop down arrow to see the available caucus timers.
If you need to edit an entry, select the Caucus or Plenary icon under View Time Log to view and edit entries.
Recording billable time outside of plenary or caucus sessions
We understand that not all of your billable time is spent during a plenary or caucus session. To record time spent in activities such as case preparation, pre-mediation conferences, or travel, simply select View Time Log in the top right corner of the Noteboard, then select the icon in the General timer. An entry box will open and prompt you for the date, start and stop times, and any notes you want to add as to the purpose.
Time Log
Open the Time Log by selecting View Time Log in the upper right corner of the Note Board. The Time Log shows you the amount of time spent in plenary sessions, caucus sessions, and outside of sessions, as well as the total time spent on the case. If you added notes to your time log entries, you can see those by hovering over the "View Notes" text. It's easy to create your invoice by checking the Time Log.
You can also access the Time Log from the Case Menu and from the Case Dashboard:
