Using ADR Notable's robust Checklist feature, you can incorporate checking for conflicts of interest into your personalized Checklist for new client intake. Read more about using Checklists.
In your Checklist, you can note (1) who completed the conflict check, (2) when it was completed, and (3) any notes you want to save about the outcome. For example, Checklist notes could be used to track interim status (see Hint below) or to record that a waiver was received. And you can store a copy of the waiver in the Retained Documents folder.
Because Checklists are not subject to deletion by the Secure Delete function at the conclusion of the Case, your record of having completed your conflict check remains with the Case information that is permanently saved in ADR Notable.
If a Conflict Check is only partially done (i.e. on some parties/participants, but not all), you will want to leave that Item "open" on your Checklist and use the Checklist note to keep track of interim progress. Alternatively, click on the Add Item button to add a separate Checklist item for each Party or even each Participant, if you wish. |
